Re: The 25lb Challenge September thread

Well for dinner (and breakfast today ) I had Asian stir fry...veggies and chicken. It's pretty healthy but the sauce is high sodium so I'm just going to try not to weigh today. I went on a decently long walk yesterday too. I wish I could go longer but with DS in the mei tai my back starts hurting after a while.

Re: The 25lb Challenge September thread
The only thing about doing a competition in teams, is that if one or two teams end up with an extra person or two that's not weighing in then of course it won't be a fair average and those teams will be losing most of the time.
If everyone is happy doing a competition in teams, then I'll go along with it, but to be honest I really like it the way it is. I prefer just looking at the first post to see where I'm sitting, as it's making me accountable knowing everyone can see my weight/weight lost, and it's great motivation just trying to catch up to the people who are losing more than me. Personally I think I'll be more motivated knowing it's a one on one competition versus being part of a team. If you look at the summer weight loss sticky, I liked the way it was set up. It posted everyone's starting weight (at the starting weight of the competition, not the start of their own personal weight loss journey so it's fair), and weight lost per week, overall loss, and percentage loss. I don't really like the idea of the teams, just because then you're depending on other people who may not be trying as hard as you, and you're also trying to lose for other people. I'm doing this for no one but myself, and prefer to see my hard work posted versus what my overall team's loss was. Make sense? But either way I'll join in with whatever everyone wants to do, just thought I'd throw another idea out there.

I joined late, but I agree with shamofthree. I will and have lost weight at a slower rate then most. I would live to keep up with everyone the truth is I want to hold my self accountable and maybe the extra completion from others loss will help motivate me.

Not a problem mama. It was just an idea. And i know everyone loses at different rates. I personally tend to lose slowly but put on muscle quickly, which makes my weight number not go down much
Oh, btw, mycoffee this morning was the shizz. I am happy

Re: The 25lb Challenge September thread
Doesn't it make your whole day just that much better when you have good coffee to start it off with? I just stopped putting sugar in mine period when I started trying to change my lifestyle. I just add a bit of milk to it and that's it. Took about a week to get used to it, but now that I am, coffee with any sugar in it tastes too sweet to me.

I want to try making mine less sweet. The sweet and low i bought came with this little doll like spoon as a scooper. I used just one of that and a little no-sugar creamer thats vanilla caramel flavored. It's awesome.
