Re: The 25lb Challenge September thread

I don't do a lot of fruit. I have a banana with my spinach smoothie at breakfast, but that's usually all I have for fruit. Once in awhile I'll have an apple but not very often. I'm not much of a sweets person though.

You should be happy about any weight loss! Way to go! But, I understand how frustrating it is to be stuck at a weight and feel like you'll never get past it! You will, though! I would like to get back down to the weight I was before I had my first. So, I need to lose 35 pounds!

LOL! I went out last night and my baby kept staring at me! It was because I actually had make up on (which I rarely wear!) and he didn't recognize me!

Re: The 25lb Challenge September thread

Thanks for the info on fenugreek! I bought some today. I took a dose of 2 but am a little worried that one of the side effects online is low blood sugar. I have a really hard time keeping mine up- especially since I started eating much, much better! Did anyone have a problem with fenugreek and blood sugar?

Also! I just found out about PB2 on the myfitnesspal forum. It is a powdered peanut butter that has wayyy fewer cals then regular.Mix with water to form a pb consistency or use in shakes etc. In case I'm not the only one who didn't know about this I wanted to share!!! I just ordered regular and chocolate on amazon! I am very excited about this!! lol

Re: The 25lb Challenge September thread

Before I confirmed the order I read in a review that netrition.com is cheaper. It is actually cheaper (including shipping) if you look at servings/$$... so if you are sure you will like it order the big bags there... they have other lower cal snackstuffs too.. if you want to spend the $

I tried fenugreek to raise my milk supply with dd, but idk if i took enough. I never got that maple syrup pee smell.

I've heard of pb2 but never tried it. I eat almond butter because ds is allergic to peanuts. If i ask for food advice on mfp because ds has allergies, i tend to get at least a few answers asking why I'm still nursing a 19 month old lol. I ignore it

Thanks! I'm giving it a try!

Lol... I asked the pharmacist about severity, prevalence etc of that particular side effect and he kept glancing at my dd (28 mo but smaller) in the shopping cart... it was very funny... my standard line for family who "question" is my boob, my baby I would ingore it too!
