Re: Morning sickness - please help i'm desperate

I was prescribed Diclectin for most of my pregnancies (unisom w/ B6) and was on a maximum dosage. It did help a lot. Sometimes it takes a few days to really take effect. It didn't really think that it made a difference until my prescription ran out. OMG, I thought I was going to die!

I tried a lot of the natural remedies: sea bands, ginger, B6, unisom, etc, and they didn't work at ALL. The only thing that helped me was Zofran.

Re: Morning sickness - please help i'm desperate

I did Zofran with my first 2 pregnancies but I got horrid constipation which I found to be worse than the crippling nausea so I wouldn't take it every day. I ended up losing 20 lbs. This time it wasn't as bad, not as much vomiting, and I did try the unisom/b6 combo. It worked but I have two littles and I can't be more sleepy than normal. In the end just resting and getting through it was all I could really do. It does go away eventually though, sorry.

Pear juice helped me. (It worked for my mom when she was going through chemo.) I also avoid milk in the am, make sure I get my B vitamins and call your doctor/midwife! for the best personalized advice.

So sorry you are having such a hard time. I hope you will be feeling well soon.

Have faith in the diclectin! It takes a day or so to kick in, but it was magic with my first pregnancy! This time it's only taking the edge off, though.
