Re: Homemade baby wipes
i put a squirt of baby wash and a squirt of liquid lanolin in a spray bottle, and top it off with water. at every change, i spritz lo's bottom and use a dry wipe (which is actually just a baby washcloth). for big messes i use a preemie prefold.it's like getting a mini bath at every change

Re: Homemade baby wipes
I would just wet as you go. I have a spray bottle with the wipes solution that I squirt every time. Or you can just wet wipes in the sink

Re: Homemade baby wipes
I've tried lots of different combos witch hazel, TTO, Dr.Bronners, baby wash but my favorite and the one I stuck with is CJ's Carcass Cleaner. I just fill my wipe warmer with water and add a squirt it's been perfect for us. It lasts us about a week and then I rinse it out and start over. From time to time I will pour some vinegar in there and let it sit for awhile to sanitize it.

Re: Homemade baby wipes
I made wipes out of old flannel baby blankets and terrycloth baby washcloths and towels. I was given some brand-name wipes after I had been using mine for a while, and actually prefer the homemade ones.
