Thanks. It's going to be hard on my 4yo if we don't name the baby Diamond Ann
What do you all think of Diamond Grace or Sapphire Grace
I'm loving all the ideas. Please keep them coming

I like sapphire. Saph, saphy, but I also love AbFab, so the nicknames are awesome to me as I'm biased haha.

That's my name, and it made me smile to see someone suggest it. Thanks!
I, too like Jade. I just started a new job with a girl named Jade, and she's a beautiful, intelligent and interesting woman, so it makes me think of her.

We just named our daughter Sapphira (suh-fear-uh), like Sapphire. She was supposed to be a September baby but came early. Sapphire is great for a September baby but if you're due in October, normally I'd suggest Opal, but you already have one.

I really like Ruby but hubby doesn't. Ruby Mae is great, DD#1's middle name is Mae.

Diamond doesn't sound as classy, to me, as some of the other suggestions.

My DH is not very fond of Ruby either. Glad you said that part about Diamond, I always wonder about name impressions on people.

What do you all think of the name Ivory?
I really like the name, but I hate what Ivory is.

I'm not a huge fan of the name Diamond. Names I like:

Hyacinth Ann (hyacinth garnet is the stone)
Olivine Kathrine (olivine garnet)
Emerald Francis
Coral Josephine

I was thinking the same thing about the name Diamond. To me it is not as classy as your other children's names.

I LOVE Ivory! What about Ivory Grace? It really fits with your other names. I also like Sapphire but I always worry about the ease of spelling. It might be hard for a child to spell that name or you might get many people misspelling her name.
I thought of another one too, what about Ebony? Just like Ivory it is not technically a gem but it still works with your theme.

Re: Help me name my baby

I am not a big fan of Diamond, and I would not be able to get past the terrible history of ivory.

Of the suggestions so far I love Olivine, Ruby and Beryl.
