Anyone have a successful pregnancy while on Mirena?

Wow, I would be so upset! That Dr sounds so discouraging, glad your DN is switching drs. I'll continue praying for her! She sounds like a strong lady and I really hope she has a great outcome Continue with updates if you will, would love to know how the 4 babies look on the U/S.

I was not dialated when they took out my iud. I only had the thing in for 12 hours. It made my uterus go into labor trying to push the thing out. Once they removed it, it was instant relief. That "labor" was the worst I ever felt. Way worse than my actual labors with my singleton, or my twins.

Quads, that's just crazy. I hope everything ends up okay.

I wanted to tell you that my cousin got pregnant while on that IUD. I think she found out some where between 11 and 13 weeks. She now has happy and healthy twin girls

Some women don't know that they're pregnant and keep taking birth control for months...doesn't seem like there would be much bigger risk with mirena. I hope the babies are okay! That is crazy....4 babies!
