Does pee need to be fresh? ~~ update with results...

I have no tests but want to use fmu tomorrow. Can I save it and go get tests after ds1 goes to school?
Backstory: af due wed, got an evap looking tests on a blue dye and a bfn on a $ tree test.
Today, still no af and an evap looking test on $ tree with fmu. This afternoon I got impatient and used my last $ tree on afternoon pee it was bfn The thing that has me curious is the fmu test still has a SUPER light line but the others are still clear.

Fresh is best, but if you want to save it, then sticking it in the fridge will preserve it for a little bit.

Yep, in the fridge. When I was testing with DS1, I didn't have a test so I left a dixie cup of FMU in the fridge while I went to the store. It felt weird to do, but it worked. Test showed positive.

OH, fmu--- I've never seen that before and it took me a while to figure out. I was like, "dude, you'll pee again!" hahahaha.

If you're really late it shouldn't matter. Perhaps you o'd late? Any stress or illness? If you do put it in the fridge though make sure you let it come back up to room temp before using it.

Re: Does pee need to be fresh?

I ended up holding my pee until I could go get a test lol. I had gone around 3 am so it wasnt too bad. Got another bfn. Af still isnt here, I was a little stressed last week over my parents and their house hunting adventure. Didn't think it was bad enough to delay af. I guess its possible though.

also you stressing about if you're pregnant or not right now can delay your af as well. any type of stress can do that.

Re: Does pee need to be fresh?

Well the stress would have had to have been around ovulation as your luteal phase should only vary a day or two. So more like 10+ days ago.
