Chapstick/lip balm

I love my carmex in the tube but not the rating it got on the akin deep website. Looking for something similar but a better rating. Anyone have any good suggestions to look in to?

It's not the same as carmex, but I LOVE the chapstick from Tropical Traditions! It has a coconut oil base and it is extremely moisturizing. My favorite flavor is the cinnamon orange. Lanolin also works really well for chapped lips. (kind of a pain to apply, though)

Its so easy to make your own. Beeswax, coconut oil and vitamin e could get you.started. I put almond oil and lanolin in mine; lanolin makes it glossy.

I make my own too, well actually it's a lotion bar recipe but it works great as chapstick and I got chapstick tubes for the lotion bars cuz that was the most affordable tube options. Mine's beeswax, coconut oil and cocoa butter-equal proportions.... SO easy! Adding Vit E is a great skin bonus and a natural preservative. I am SO adding lanolin now that I know it makes it glossy!!! GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really wanting to make my own but for now I buy locally made/WAHM made like Alexander's Additions and CJ's Naturals (both WAHMs here). Coconut oil does nothing for our dry crusty lips. Whenever I start making mine it will contain shea butter and castor oil and a few other things.

I love Badger lip balm! It goes on so smooth and is really emollient. I really like the Highland Mint flavor/scent as it's subtle. I, too, was a Carmex addict and I love this stuff
