I prefer to use powder - but Tide does not have a Free and Gentle HE powder (only the regular scent). So we are stuck using liquid.

Liquid was way more sudsy than powder for me (regular water).

Powder didn't rinse out of my clothes or my washer as well. I think you just have to try.
