If you steam it it is just really creamy.

LOL Erica..or I could do knit ones like Fi linked us to a while back
How long including the dye job, or just spinning? The spinning took me 2 1/2 days, it would've been a little under 2 if I hadn't been trying to struggle with the Matchless yesterday. I *can* do a 4 oz braid worsted in 1 day if I sit down with no distractions and just go, but yeah... how often does that happen to any of us?

The guy who is scheduled to work is having a football party and "needs" off last minute. The 3 other guys said they couldn't do he's making C go in. So no camping trip for us. I told C if I ever meet that man again, don't expect me to be nice. It would be different if he didn't always do things like this to C. C hasn't been there 90 days yet, so if he wants to keep his job he has to deal with it. And this man is supposed to be a "Christian" well I don't see it, ever.

That sucks, is it just because he's newer? If he was scheduled off and you had reservations that's really not right

I actually use cream I put half and half to lighten it up a bit. I'm sure whole milk would be good too.

Yeah it isn't his Saturday to work. He worked Saturday before last and was on call last weekend. He knows that he can fire C no questions asked before 90 days and he's taking advantage of that. C even called and nicely explained that we had a trip planned and it was already paid for and he said be at my house by one, before the games come on.

you must have a stomach of steel, I could never drink whipping cream although I would like to. I put a splash in my hot choc.

yes..not the dying, I have a handle on that. OK..so it takes time, not as much as knitting but it still takes a while. I think I will hold off on that hobby for now..that sounds like a "later in life when I have more time" kinda thing.

Re: KAL ~ Knit for FALL! Sept 9 - Sept 15

k..not cold anymore. I am sweating now after the hot choc. gotta do the dishes that have been sittingin the sink all day I had to empty the dishwasher so that held me up, that is a valid excuse for not doing them, right?
