Using baby soap for cloth wipes...problem?

I've been using baby soap for our cloth wipes. I just fill the sink up and squirt a little in the water and mix it around. I wash my wipes and diapers together and recently I've noticed that my wash won't wash clear of suds. Is it possible it's my wipes? I've been having an ammonia issue, could this be causing it? (no repelling though) I use RnG...isn't that supposed to rinse clean? I had to do 4 rinses of my diapers today. I only use 2 TBSP of RnG soft.

Sould be wash. I used to presoak with soap & then I felt I was rinsing more than washing I should. I just use water on wipes.

I have seen people talk about using wipes, and wondered if that problem would creep up. I just use water.

I haven't had an issue. I've been using baby soap in my wipe solution for about 6 months now. I use two tbsp of baby wash with two cups of water for about 20 wipes. Do you presoak/prewash your dipe laundry with just water?

I use water only in my wipes. I wouldn't think this would be causing the ammonia issue. RnG is notorious for ammonia issues from what I've heard. I would bleach the diapers and then try a different detergent and see if that fixes the problem.

I have used Dr Bonners for over 2 years without any issues. It's probably your RNG.

Our homemade laundry detergent contains Castille soap on purpose. I also suspect it's your detergent.
