Re: Measuring a bit off?

Hi, I'm measuring off too. Normally this concerns me quite a bit, but not in this case. I was nursing when we conceived. I had only had two menstrual cycles which were totally erratic (both shorter and longer than 28 days). I hadn't had enough time to establish a pattern (a 28 cycle v. 35 day cycle). Also, I'm not 100% sure of my LMP. I know it's a range of 3-4 potential dates, but not the exact date. Anyhow, I've pretty much measured a week off consistent from what my guesstimated LMP is. What made me feel better is that with each ultrasound (I get them every 2 weeks), the baby seems to grow by the appropriate time elapsed. Also, the ultrasound tech says up to a week off, they don't worry and it's their margin of error.

Thanks ladies! I've had several losses so ANYTHING makes me worry. It sounds as if I'm only 2-3 days behind, well within the norm.

I measured ahead

I'm so excited. Not because I care about the EDD.. but because maybe this stinking MS will end earlier

I had my first appt. today and my dr. thinks I am measuring small. So, I have a date check next week. I hope my edd doesn't change too much. I've been 6 days past with both ds and dd. I mean who really wants to be pregnant longer? Luckily my dr. didn't want to make me wait till next Thursday for an U/S to make sure the baby was still there, so he gave me a quick off the record U/S. Baby was there with heart beating, so that was a relief. Now just hoping edd doesn't change too much.

Me, me, me! Only because DH is due back from his deployment a little after my due date. If this baby came late and he came home early... so I was actually a little happy when the OB moved my due date back four days (irrationally a little scared, too, but whatever).

If this pregnancy is like my last one, baby can stay in as long as it wants. So much easier before theyre here.... But I'm not a fan of the newborn phase. And trying to juggle it this time a needy toddler?

Baby needs to spend all the time in there as possible

I'm with you there! While the last stage of pregnancy is rough, I'm super nervous about juggling everything when the baby is born!

I do! After being overdue with Levi, I'd love to go over again - I know at the time I was worried every day, but it was worry over not getting a VBAC, not worry over still being pregnant. After he was born, I realized that I really missed out on those extra days. I love being big and pregnant!
