Re: Any upcoming doctor appointments or tests?

My husband changed my ultrasound appt from Oct 5th to Tues Sept 25th!!! It would've been torture to wait two more weeks! Though I am terribly nervous about getting the ultrasound. Praying hard this little blessing will make it!!

My Medicaid was finally approved yesterday so today I called the OB that I am going to be using this time. They told me to come in tomorrow morning to fill out paperwork and then they will schedule me for an ultrasound. I am really nervous about this OB but since the OB (that i loved) I used with my daughter moved 5.5 hours away....I guess I am kind of stuck

Re: Any upcoming doctor appointments or tests?

I haven't even called my ob yet. She doesn't want to see me before 8 weeks, and honestly I'm not ready to tell even at 8 weeks. So I may wait until mid October to even call and schedule anything. Once I start making monthly trips to Savannah to see my OB, and needing someone to watch my 5 kids while I go....well, people will start to get suspicious...especially my kids! When I went about 3 weeks ago for my yearly checkup my 10 yo ds asked me if we were going to have a baby since I was going to see the "baby doctor".

Re: Any upcoming doctor appointments or tests?

I feel like I'm the only one not getting an early visit or ultrasound. My midwife doesn't want to see you until 8-10 weeks (my appointment is at 10 weeks) and I will only get 1 ultrasound, at 20 weeks (unless she thinks I need more) :/ I know I am lucky to have had no losses, but I do wish I could at least see what's going on in there!

Re: Any upcoming doctor appointments or tests?

We don't get appointments here until at least 8 weeks, as well. We usually have only one ultrasound at 20 weeks, but I will probably get the NT scan if this little bean sticks around a few more weeks (fingers crossed).

I don't see my midwife until 8 weeks either! That's oct 15 for us!

Plus we may not even do an ultrasound at all.
