Vegetarian freezer meals - bean and lentil question!

Hi! I was looking at doing some of the freezer meals, especially for the crockpot! I use dry beans, usually do the boil, 1 hour soak, cook option. Now, for freezing, trying to decide what would work best. Wondering if I should soak and then freeze? For wheatever reason, this isn't obvious to me :P And the recipes I've seen that talk about freezing are starting from canned beans...

Well canned beans are already cooked, so I guess id go with cooked beans. But it just depends on the cooking medium. If they're going on the crockpot for 4 hours, I'd just freeze them presoaked.

Thanks! That makes sense :P If they'll "cook" when they come out they can be just soaked... I was thinking of a chunk of crockpot ones so that works for them. I"ll cook them for 'heat and eat' type meals and freeze with it like than...

I guess I was thinking maybe I shouldn't freeze them, but then it complicates when you take it out of the freezer... I clearly can't handle complications
