Really strong smelling pee

I have no idea if this is in the right place, but here goes.

DH and I have both been noticing DD's pee being really pungent. I thought it was my diapers so I stripped them all, nope still strong. Changed my washing routine, nope still strong. So I let her play nakked today just to see, and as soon as she peed I could smell it, halfway across the room. She's still mostly EBF and drinks water, so I don't think it's a hydration issue. Any ideas?

Any discomfort with peeing? I'd leave her dipeless and find out- may be a UTI. Do you use bubble bath at all? If so DON'T- esp w/a girl!

Nope, no discomfort, she was just rolling around on the floor when she peed. And no bubble bath. I just have no idea :-(

I second the other two thoughts, UTI or antibiotics. Let us know what you figure out!

No antibiotics for either of us. I guess I need to call and get her checked for a UTI, even though she's not acting like it. I just want the smell to stop!
