We LOVE Boingos! We do the side snapping thing as well. Here's a quick shot. Little one doesn't stand still.

Huh. I had the same problem and wondered why everyone loved the boingos so much. Will have to try side snapping but why does this work better? I can't figure out how it would make any difference.

I think it's because its pulling the front up more than the other ways would? I am terrible at explaining.

It's so easy to attach this way too, virtually no pulling. I'm not sure why it works better either, maybe it is because of the pulling thing.
