Re: What kind of toddler shoes do you like?
My kiddos are almost exclusively in pedipeds. They make some seriously cute shoes. My boys also have DC's (couldn't beat the price). A lot of people like stride Rite, but they are too wide for us.

Stride rite here, but my kids have super wide feet. I love their shoes with the light soles on them. Flexible and low profile so they don't trip over their own feet.

Vans and stride rite. You can get wicked good deals at their outlet stores.

We like stride rite, pedipeds, rileyroos, and robeez.
My DS has outgrown almost all of them but stride rite though, so going forward we're using sr.

I like See Kai Run the very best for pre-walkers, followed by Robeez. Keens are my favorite once they are walking. Pedipeds are cute but they are WAY too wide for my toddler. Saucony makes a nice sneaker for toddlers as well, really easy to get on and off.

Pedipeds and robeez seem like the soles are too slippery. We have chucks and stride right but thats only because I found good deals on them used. They will be outgrown in a few months anyway. Bare feet is best for new walkers imo and thats how most time is spent at my house.

Re: What kind of toddler shoes do you like?
Pediped's are my favorite! It's the only shoe my kids don't complain about putting on. They are cute and comfy! My 5 year old is in the last size (13.5), I am going to be sad when she outgrows them!
I have heard great things about Stride Rites too. We have a Stride Rite outlet where we live now, so we may check it out this fall.
