Signs of laying?

Hi gals,

My SLW is acting like a weirdo right now. She is 20 weeks old. She is currently in the coop taking all the straw and throwing it around, kicking it and turning around in circles, clucking a lot and overall just acting goofy. The other chickens are sleeping on the roosts. Is she getting ready to lay? TIA!

No not really, I don't see them a lot either. We have some trees in the front yard they like too much. I have to go searching for them and they are always in the branches just chilling. The only time they get around is when they know I'm going to the compost...

Sounds like it will be soon, that's a lot how a few of our new EE started before they were laying. They also would not squat for me until after they started laying.
