Yeah, but knock on wood, none in the last 2 years! Certainly not for lack of trying, though. You know those fire extinguisher boxes that are slightly recessed into the wall and are made of glass and metal? Just yesterday he walked right into one. I was astonished he didn't split his head open, he hit it so hard.

5ft wide walkway, and my child finds something sticking out 2.5in from the wall to run into.

I think my favorite, though, was last summer at 3 when he learned to ride a bike without training wheels. He was watching the pretty little girl across the street instead of where he was going, and rode right into the neighbor's mailbox. Flipped him on his back, but the bike kept going...

Love him!

Hi there,
I was just wondering how your daughters laceration scar is looking a couple of years later?
My 22 month old split her head open right between her eyes last Monday. We got plastic surgery done but it got a staph infection 4 days later and she was given strong antibiotics and now i'm sure it has worsen the outlook of the scar. It's so upsetting to know she will have this forever.
Kind Regards,
Wendy

My little brother ha a jagged tear on his forehead right between his eyes. He fell onto a rock fire mantle and required stitches.

Now at 9 it has been long gone. Its so tiny and actually at his hair line now. Scars acquired at a young age often move because of how the skin grows and stretches, esp on the face.

Hi Mariamommy,
I was just wondering how your daughters forehead scar is looking after a few years. My daughter fell 3 weeks ago and got a laceration between her eyes which was to the bone, then after plastic surgery 4 days later she wakes up to a staph infection, so she went on strong antibiotics.
I'm really worried how her scar will look

Regards,
Wendy
