Now to think of a super fancy project for next year in the hopes that more people will enter.
Overalls? A piggy and a spider? Lol sorry, I'm a jerk. But the pig and spider would be cool. Like Charlotte's Web.

Craziness!! At least you found a way to make the night work for you

Making apple/pear sauce today, it's been exhausting peeling and chopping tons of fruit. It's simmering/reducing on the stove right now, I'll be canning it soon. Taking a break knitting on my storyteller, about to separate for the shoulder sections.

Re: KAL! Sept 16-22. Knit a present!

Speaking of cake. I know it's been a couple of days since we were on that conversation, but I just made a yummy one. It could beat out your costco cakes any day.

Duncan Hines Devil's Food chocolate baked in 2 9" round pans
this Chocolate Ganashe frosting
and broken up andes mints on the top

Super yummy. DH's birthday was yesterday so I finally made his cake today. Just a little behind.

We should be able to show FO's about the same time I had the back done but ran out of yarn w/a few inches to go and then restarted w/o alternating and it bugged me..so I am going to reknit w/alternating skeins now.

I'm not a fan of choc cake but I'll take it if it has yummy frosting. I have andes candies in my hot choc almost everyday. A staple item on my grocery list.

Thankfully with handpun there's nothing to worry about really with the yarn behaving or different dye lots etc. Since Pi's sweater is done it's knitting up nice and fast now! I'm trying to have it done for the end of the month, we'll see.

I LOVE cake doctor cakes! Just made a German Chocolate one for my dad's Bday. Frosting is from scratch but I added 1/2 pkg chocolate pudding powder and 8 oz of sour cream. It is delicious!!!!!
