Does your child hate diaper changing time?

my DD starts to cry when she sees the changing table
she's also such a wiggly worm, I can hardly put a diaper on her!!!
I've resorted to unsnapping the diaper while i'm holding her, washing her butt with the faucet water, wiping her dry with a wipe, and then putting a new dipe on her while she stands on the changing table (our changing table is against a mirror, so she looks in the mirror) ... it's very aggravating - especially because all my dipes are snaps (I hate aplix)
plus my DD pees very often so I change her every hour to less than an hour.

any ideas on this???

Yes, my toddler hates diaper changes. When I tell him it's time for a new diaper, he screams no at me. And I can tell by the pitch of his "no" how bad his diaper is. High-pitched no=really poopy diaper, a regular no is a wet diaper.

Mine has just started trying to get away. It is such a battle to get her changed anymore. *sigh*

My DD doesn't like diaper changes either. She grabs a hold of the sides of the changing table and pulls herself to a sitting position. She doesn't like to lay down. I usually give her a toy to hold to keep her occupied long enough to get the job done. Sometimes it works, other times she throws the toy on the floor and sits up. Such a stinker!

My DS is okay as long as I change him on the changing table. Anywhere else is a battle. Try giving her a hand mirror to play with since she likes looking in the mirror. Or reserve some "special" toys for changing time only. My DS LOVES old remote controls, keys, or anything that beeps.

Hey our kiddos have the same birthday!
We just started going through this too. Maybe it's something to do with the age? He tries to roll over and get away when I'm trying to change him. I was afraid he'd fall off the changing table so I've started changing him on the floor or in his crib. I also try to give him a toy and do the silly baby talk thing to get him distracted. It doesn't always work, but it helps. I hope he outgrows this soon! What a PITA!!!

Braelynn is at the flip and roll stage, so changing her is an act of acrobatics! but when she was new born, no she did not like having her dipe changes....for example....

Yes, he screams like I'm hurting him. Makes me cry. But it's just because he's a GO GO GO kid and hates me stopping him for a change. Honestly, we've resorted to Seventh Generation disposables because he can go hours in them as long as he doesn't poop. I'm more concerned about him not screaming like crazy than using cloth. Plus, they are more natural, no gel diapers! AND, we havea lot of naked time throughout the day. He pees all over the house, but I don't really care. lol.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.
