I think she gets to ride the buss everyday but Tuesday this week. Tuesday Jerry has his boss visit and if they are there in the middle of bus pick up then there could be an issue so I will keep her that day.

Re: Basically it's Monday

I only remember one kid that had a hamster growing up, and it didn't last long. I don't think it was the hamster's fault, tho.

My sister told me there are a bunch of cute things in the girls department of Target right now. I have been avoiding it because the girls have so much right now. Maybe I should go back.

We went to Ian's swim lessons, the dollar store, the kids' old school, and picked up milkshakes at Arby's. :whew: One of the moms at their old school pointed out to me the reason our school has different holidays is because many of them reflect Jewish holidays. :duh: I can't believe I didn't put that together. In the olden days , this was a rich Jewish neighborhood. Not so much anymore, but there is definitely more Jewish people here than in their old school. It was nice to go back to our old stomping grounds, but I have to say I really am glad we made the switch to the new school.

Pancakes for dinner tonight. Yum.

Re: Basically it's Monday

I figured that was the reason Cheryl.

I honestly found much of the target girls department to be hoochie and way to sparkly. It just was not how I choose to dress MH. I really like to keep her clothes easy wear cotton. Lowrise jeans and belly shirts on a 4.5 year old is a bit much for me.

Re: Basically it's Monday

I think my sister was talking about the colored jeans and such that are popular this year. She's pretty conservative about kiddo clothing for someone who is childless , doesn't really approve of sparkly nail polish on the girls for example. I have only been buying things from Target on clearance at season end, so I have not looked at their stuff lately. Although maybe I should go back and see if they have shorts on clearance left.

I really really need to get on this house, but I am so dead tired. Ian keeps waking up around 4 or 5am coughing when his albuterol wears off. I've only got the kitchen done. And I still need to make pancakes and do another load of laundry.

Seriously Cheryl the colored jeans had a really low rise on MH. That is why we went to Kohl's instead. Better sales at Kohl's right now too.
