Diaper Swappers

Did a quick clean up, washed all my hand knit socks and 2 sweaters, Hung them in the kids room (extra because of the scent), put away the toys, sang with the kids before putting Fynn to bed (it's a newish thing, we've been doing it for a few weeks now....we sing twinkle Twinkle little star every night before Fynn goes to bed. He loves it and goes to bed happily), and read the kids a story.

That is terribly disappointing Jen. Target has been my go-to for filling in the gaps I can't get at Salvation Army, but I didn't have that many gaps to fill this year so I had no idea. That and The Children's Place. I am really afraid the older the girls get, the less and less I will like the clothes that will be available to them. Anywhere.

Ok, house picked up. Enough anyway. I need to get started on pancakes in a bit. I just flipped through the latest Martha mag, and they had spider and spiderweb pancakes in it. You put the batter in a squirt bottle (tho I suspect you could just use a ziploc bag and cut a tiny hole it it too) and draw them on the griddle. I'm guessing you could do that for any holiday, hearts for VD, bells and stars for Xmas, etc. So cute. I will fight the urge to try it today and save it for a day when they haven't had so much excitement already.

I like the ideas of the hearts and such but I'm pretty sure my kids would FREAK at me serving them spiders even if they are only pancakes.

Yep no spiders here either but that is cute I could do pumpkins and things for MH and Jerry.

Cheryl check at your target they all carry different clothes. I really liked what Kohls had to offer.

They look like they'd be too crunchy for my kids, the freakout notwithstanding. Maybe I will use the method to make pumpkins and ghosts instead.

That's true. Mom hit Kohls pretty hard for them last year. I'll go check it out Thursday, when I get to play in the land of plenty.
