This group is designed for those of us over 30 yrs of age. We have a different TTC journey than our younger counterparts & many of us encounter challenges along the way to our coveted BFP. We invite all to join us as we offer advice, support & encouragement to each other thru these challenges, as well as celebrating those joyful BFPs.

While this thread is not necessarily labeled as a "struggling TTC" thread, we do ask that if you choose to join us that you remain mindful of the challenges that many of our members are experiencing when posting about BFPs. We are excited to celebrate everyone's BFP, though it can often be a sensitive issue for those for whom it has not been so easy.

We hearing from our graduates & hope you are having a HH9M!!! But we ask that you please take the time to catch up on posts, taking note of current losses before posting your pregnancy updates. If any of our sweet mommas are experiencing a loss in the current thread, please consider posting your updates at a different time.

I'll try to update your status daily, but let me know if I missed you! If I don't hear from you for a few weeks I'll take you off the list. Just post with an update to be re-added.

Question of the week:What is your most hated household chore?

Anyone can answer the question! And if you have suggestions for the QOTW send me a PM.

In RED, tell me:
Your handle (and your name and/or age if you'd like)
Where you are in your cycle or if you're waiting for AF to return
Whether you are actively TTC or waiting right now.
**I will look for a change in your status in red throughout the week.**

O, and I missed the QOTW and this is an easy one for me- its folding socks! With 7 people socks and somehow I end up missong about 50 socks every time I do it I have nothing but a basket of mismatched socks and it take me over an hour to go through and match what pairs I di have! I must grip about it on FB about once a week- Man what agreat question, that took some built -up frustration out of me this a.m.

Girl! Stop folding socks! I just dump everyone's socks into their top dresser drawer and that's that!

I can't change colors from my phone! Ugh! Hmmm, my most hated chore is the bathroom. I have 3 boys and a hubby so toilets and the area around them get nasty quick! :shutter:

AFM: I have been so crabby the last 2 days. An emotional mess, I hope that means something awesome! I'm just gonna go ahead and test on the 24th. That's next Monday so I guess you can add me to the TWW!

We PIN OUR SOCKS. it does mean that we all walk around with one safety pin on one of our socks all day but at night when we take them off- we pin them together and then throw them in the laundry. They go through the wash and still have their pair =) and I can not even tell you how often we have needed a safety pin while out and about and thanks to our socks had one (or twelve-lol)

So I went to move you to the 2WW & realized I was so excited when you joined that I never added you to the list! And the QOTW doesn't have to be answered in green. I just do it green to distinguish it from the rest of the thread.

QOTW: Folding/putting away the laundry. I would give anything for it to magically go from the dryer to its appropriate closet or drawer on its own.

AFM: CD 3 & back to you guys & for an oops!

Re: TTC 30+ Sept. 17-23

Back on the horse for me...AF showed Saturday morning, I had baseline blood & u/s this morning, & start my meds back up tonight. Fx! I talked w/ DP, & I'm also feeling really strongly that I need to use the one vial of sperm that we have in storage that is not DD's donor. IDK why, I just do this cycle, so we'll see. Anyway, that means IUI probably late next week if everything cooperates (and we know it never does! ).

I've been cleaning like a crazy lady in preparation for the Fisher Price thing next weekend...turning the family room into a playroom has given me my living room back & it is so nice! So far, DD wants to serve cookies, cupcakes (in ice cream cones), pretzels w/ hummus, & apples w/ caramel dip, along w/ juice boxes...what else should I have as snacks? The kids range in age from 15mos-3.5yrs & I think my kid is the only food allergies I need to worry about (no strawberries & only small amounts of dairy). And what about for the adults? I was thinking fruit platter & veggie platter...maybe also cheese, pepperoni, & crackers. Oh, and maybe some wine for those who want it & iced tea for those who don't. Should I do anything else?

It's a 2pm party, so I don't have to do a meal, but I want plenty of stuff for people to graze on...

QOTW: I've had some time to ponder this as I cleaned the house top to bottom for this party...but I can't decide which is the worst chore--cleaning the litter boxes, cleaning the stove, or doing the bathroom. But it's definitely one of those.

CD1 for me.

QOTW: Is squishing spiders a household chore? LOL I hate spiders and anything to do with removing them from the house.
