Re: *Update Again*Help Help Help Help TMI Warning!

I would think if it was something serious or something BAD, that any decent Dr would have gotten back to you right away, not make you wait 2wks! So I would have to go with the "no news is good news" theory.

Re: *Update Again*Help Help Help Help TMI Warning!

Went to the Dr. FINALLY yesterday and he said that it was definitely from the Depo and was strips of the inside of my uterus peeling off from the Depo or something along those lines. I think someone posted that could be it, bang on.

Anyway I'm not having my second shot of it.

DH and I decided it's not worth it. I've had my period off and on for 3 weeks now too which is a total PITA and also a side effect of the depo my doc said.

Thanks for all the support ladies. I'm so happy it wasn't bad news.

It took FOREVER and a day though which I'm not happy with but at least I finally know.

Oh yikes, that is so scary! I had the depo shot one time as well - never again. I bled the entire 3 months, aside from the occasional 2 day break in bleeding. It was terrible.

I'm so glad you are ok

I'm glad too.

Glad to see I'm not the only one to one go for one shot.

I actually had the Depo just before my wedding so I wouldn't get AF for the wedding and for our honeymoon in Costa Rica, didn't want to have to deal with pads there.

It was fine then so I really thought I would be fine now too. So weird

But I guess my body and hormones have changed a little since then, 2 kids later.

It's condoms and foam from now on.

Yep, we just use condoms. My body does not do well with any artificial hormones. I can't even take the pill.

And what is this baby dust for twins thing?! Bite your tongue!

I'm just kidding... mostly. Twins are great, but SO much work.

I know they are TONS of work. DH actually has 2 sets of identical twins on his side, his aunt and his uncle, boys 15 now and girls 2.5 yrs. We are close to them.

I have 5 sets on my side

I would LOVE twins then I would be totally done but I doubt it will happen.

Just a little baby dust my way for it or even just 1 more would be nice.
