I get hit with things ALL the time. Sometimes it is an accident and sometimes they hit in the middle of a tantrum. It is a totally normal kid thing. I was a nanny for 10 years before I had my own children and they all went through that stage too. I just let them know that it hurt and ask them to kiss my boo boo like I do with them. They are just now starting to get the idea.
