Paragard uti, discharge. might be TMI for some

I had the Paragard put in Aug 15. I only had spotting for the 1st 4 days and cramping for 2 and then occasionally I have cramping. Since having it put in I have had extra almost orange tinted jelly like discharge(though I might say Id rather have the extra discharge then be as dry as I was after DS. It was almost painful to walk being so dry). I completely forgot to ask the dr about that when I went in for my 1 mth IUD check as I had a RAGING UTI also. I have read that even though the drs tell you that its not possible some women have had horrible time with UTI when they had a IUD. I should also add though that I DO have something called Medullary sponge kidney which does increase my risk of having UTI but have not had any in about 2 yrs. (had a 8mth stretch way before IUD and babies that I would get one every other month and had to be on low dose antibiotic for 6 mths to finally get everything back to normal)

So my questions are. Is the orange tinted jelly like discharge normal? And What are your thoughts about the UTI?

Also finally I am 3mth pp from baby #2 and EBF so no AF since having it put in.

I have never had any UTIs except for when I was on the IUD. In the 15 months or so I had the IUD I had 3 UTIs, I haven't had any since I had it removed almost 4 years ago. I had weird discharge like you describe about half of the months I had the IUD around ovulation time. I don't know what it was, I never had it without the IUD. Sorry I couldn't be more help with that. Besides those two things, I actually liked the paraguard for the most part.
