Sounds like secondary infertility. You do not ovulate or when you do you throw a weak egg not capable of producing an embryo. She is running the tests to find out what type you have. Could be PCOS, the most common type. Could be fibroids, endo, or something else. Since annovulation or weak ovulation is the issue, giving you clomid can help.

Clomid raises your estrogen levels and causes FSH and LH to rise appropriately to ripen an egg and thicken your lining. Once you ovulate your corpus luteum will make progesterone to thicken and make your lining sticky for proper implantation. This is the process that your body is not doing on its own which clomid can help to accomplish. Taking provera prior thickens the lining to have an AF to prepare for the cycle.

Thanks ladies. She called me back and said that she still wants me to go get a u/s done even though I'm bleeding so they can get a look at my ovaries and some other things to update...the sheet I'm to take with me says they are checking for placental cord too?? She wants to get bloodwork done to recheck levels and everything. She said she'd talk it over with me at my appt in two weeks.
