12 month old son hasn't had any issues. I had 2 foster sons prior and no issues there either.

Re: Non-circ'ing mamas - question

A 9 yo intact. The only issue we have had was an infection in the tip on ds1. It was likely due to attempts to retract before he was ready. I thought we were supposed to retract once he reached 4 years of age. Actually I thought earlier but forgot to do it. Until I attempted to retract no issues. No issues since we stopped attempting to retract.

I forgot to add the infection cleared up within 24 hours with topical antibiotic treatment.

15 month old intact no issues.

My step father is 65 intact no issues.

My brother is 22 intact no issues.

My kids doctor is European. She has never attempted to retract either of my boys.

Have 3 intact boys who are 4, 3, and 5 months and no issues. I have one circ'd boy and he had UTIs and yeast infections all the time.

Re: Non-circ'ing mamas - question

The only intact boys I know irl that have had issues, all had issues due to retraction. Sadly one friend didn't learn you were not supposed to retract at every diaper change until her Ds had pain issues, and possible infection, her other ds got the same treatment but not as many issues. But you know better

I have two boys who are circ'd and one who is not. There has never been an issue with any of them. All are healthy, happy, and complication free :-)

Re: Non-circ'ing mamas - question

DS is 7 1/2 and has had zero issues. DD, on the other hand, has had a few infections. We treated them with antibiotic cream....no biggie. I imagine it wouldn't be a big deal for a boy either.
