Be careful that they are a cotton/poly blend. I love ours but they are a cotton blend. Most of the ones I have seen locally are all polyester and they are terrible (IMO) as wipes.

I think she meant be careful to be sure it is a blend and not 100% poly. That way it absorbs some water/solution. I use poly/cotton Gerber washcloths for wipes & they are great.

Nice!! Baby washcloths are useless as washcloths but awesome as baby wipes. They were our favorites. Now the few surviving ones are family cloth.

Polyester is synthetic and does not absorb. For a decent washcloth or baby wipe you need cotton. I was flabbergasted to find out that in recent years baby washcloths are being made of 100% poly. Totally useless.

Yes! If they're all poly, they tend to just smear the poo around but not really get it off the baby (sorry to be graphic, but we're all mamas here). I have a few 100% poly ones that were gifts and I am throwing them away b/c they're so awful My cotton/poly blend ones are awesome though!
