Boy sleepwear ?

My son is 8 years old and is sweating a lot at night when he is asleep. I open a window in his bedroom, so its not stuffy in there and even put the air conditioner on before bedtime to try and cool it off since his room is in the back of the house. Lately the stitching in his shirts are bothering him at night, I think because he gets so sweaty. Any suggestion for better sleepwear or shirts that are lightweight w/ no stitching inside? Thank you for any suggestions!

Re: Boy sleepwear ?

My children do not wear pajamas to bed when they are hot/sweaty. They sleep in just their pull-up/underwear.

For other times I like Gymboree or Hanna Andersson cotton pajamas.

Can he just go shirtless at night? My ds often asks to not wear a shirt to bed (except lately because we leave the windows open at night and the bedrooms are very chilly).

Same here. When it is hot, DS just wears boxers, or he may wear pj pants and no shirt. I would just let him sleep shirtless.

My ds just wears boxers or pajama bottoms. Took me a couple of months to convince his little sister she can't get away with that.
