I had an ultrasound done last Friday. The tech said I had a follicle on my right ovary and said I'd be ovulating soon. Well as I posted this am I got a positive opk this morning. I've been having cramps near my left ovary. Why would I be having cramps on the opposite side?

Only thing I am guessing is that it's flip-flopped for her what she sees on the screen versus your version of "left or right"... maybe on her screen she saw/said right ovary... and she meant the one you refer to as your left? Does that make sense? I am not an ultrasound tech, so I have no clue which way they anatomically look at our inner parts on their screen.

Possibly. I remember one part she said she was going to look at something on the left (this was while she was doing the external us) and she had the thing on my right...I asked her about it and she said her left haha. So yea that makes sense.

You also had 3 on the left, one or more could have matured

Sometimes the matured follical that is way big over ripens and so it never releases. THat will leave the other matured follicals a chance to be the golden egg

Hmm. Very interesting. I learn something new here everyday!!
This morning I woke up to very very painful cramps, mostly on my right side...sigh. my body can't make up its mind. My temp dropped again as well. I'm cd15. I normally o on cd15 so here's to hoping!

You possibly could have O'd on both sides, too.

Yup, you could be releasing 2 eggs. A drop in temp can also mean you are oing today. Keep up the grooving!!!

That was the plan last night until dh started being a meanie. Haha. Needless to say there was no getting me in the mood with his attitude.

Why do they wait till ovulation to start a fit? Mine used to do that too. I told him to cut it out he had the whole month to be a poop, not during 'o'.
