Second baby earlier or later? Just for fun...

I'm asking a totally unscientific question here, because I know every person and every pregnancy is different...so, just for fun and out of curiosity!! If you've had 2 children (or more), did the second come earlier or later than the first? My first came at 38+2, and I'm at 37 now with my second. Like I said, I know nothing is going to predict or accurately say when this one will come, I'm not looking for that. I'm not wishing for this one to come any earlier than God intends, but I'm soooo excited! Thanks for participating!

My first was an emergency c-section at 31 weeks so I won't count that :lol:

DD2 was born at 41w2d, DS (my 3rd baby) was born at 39w3d.

My first was 35 weeks 0 days, my second was 40w0d, and 4.25 pounds heavier. I am hoping that isn't a trend, because that would give me a 14.5 pound baby at 45 weeks this time. I am hoping for an average sized baby at about 38 weeks. Good luck! :-)

All 3 of mine were both exactly on their due date, totally naturally (not induced or c section). I'm a freak of nature. Lol

DS came at 42+2. DD came on her EDD.

My first came 39wks and 1 day. I kept thinking my second would be earlier. Nope. She was 39wks and 4 days. I must have a very organized uterus. Both came on the weekend. Both came same time of the day. DD was born at 9:15, DS at 9:34. Both were fast labors, fast pushing. I was in the hospital with DS 2hrs, DD a lil over an hr.

Eta: with dd, we did try that one thing to get the ball rolling. It worked. She was born about 5hrs later. Id say it worked mighty well!
Eta again: no interventions here either no drugs.

Later. My first was 36w 2ds, second was 38w 4ds.

Well i voted "earlier" - but honestly it was only by 1 day! I have always delivered in my 39th week all on my own (eg no interventions to make me start labor)..... DS1 was born at 39wk5d, DS2 was born at 39wk4d, DS1 was 39wk3d ..... you need to add "the same" because for all intensive purposes my babies were all born at the same time

I was 42+1 weeks with my first and exactly 42 weeks with my second!
