Taking off diapers

Has/does anyone else's child constantly take their diapers off when you put them on? My DD has started doing this and I'm going to go crazy . Every time I put a diaper on her she takes it right off within 10 mintues. I put it back on, she does it again...over and over again. She wants to streak but she pee's on my carpet...and poops too(which isn't so bad since it's just turds I can pick up but STILL ) What can I do to make her stop? I'm at a loss...I have the stubbornest baby I've ever met. I mean STUBBORN. Spanking or yelling will not work..I know this..she is far to stubborn She's really young anyway. Also I've tried having her stand in the corner...she thinks it's fun. She is 19 months. Please give me something to work with...PLEASE

how about keeping pants on her that she cant get off, or putting the diaper backwards, i know it sounds silly but i had to do it with ds. or a pullup diaper cover. good luck. my ds used to take his diaper off right after he pooped and i would have nice butt prints on my carpet to clean

my son occasionally reaches down and pulls the velcro on his BSWW and I've found (for him at least) that putting some sort of cover (pants, shorts, even a Gerber vinyl cover) over it helps and he doesn't pull through clothes (yet).

Like the OP said. Put the diapers on backwards, use diapers with snaps, wear onsies or one pieces over the diapers. It will pass. DS did this for a few weeks then became uninterested once I stopped making a fuss about it.

during the day we use wool shorts that we tie in the back

I did them backwards and pjs backwards for my oldest, and overalls over it a LOT. But I need to say here that my DD was 19 months old and potty trained HERSELF. She pulled off a diaper, ran away, and used the toilet. After that she wouldn't let me put them on and she NEVER WORE A DIAPER AGAIN day or night. I think that MOST kids aren't like that (my others were late learners) but its summer. you might try a dress and naked bum for a week and just try to catch her in the act and set her on a potty. No pressure, just saying give her a chance you know?
