Ok I think they are cute, but they are eating my strawberries!!!! I've also caught them eating the buds on other plants. I know, everyone says they only eat decaying plant matter but I have seen it for myself, they bore right into the strawberries. I've lifted them up and shaken them out. How do I get rid of them? I read somewhere DE works but I put the bugs and DE in a jar overnight and I assure you the frosted little stinkers were very much alive when I woke up. Are there any other organic methods that work? I don't want to resort to the big guns but they are coming out in herds HERDS! SOWBUG HERDS!

Subbing, we have INSANE amounts in the spring, they were dead in HOARDS in dd's room when we bought the house beginning of this year. As we ready the gardens I soooo hope they don't become destructive!
