Siblings sharing a bed

I have a 6yr dd and a 4yr dd.. The currently share a room and have twin over full bunk beds.. They sleep together by choice in the full bed atleast 6 out of 7 days a week..
The thing is the bunk beds are metal and are obnoxiously squeaky!! They move one little bit and you can hear them downstairs!
I found a super cute full size bed frame on FB for $20.. I am thinking of ditching the bunks and just having a full size bed..
What do you all think??

Re: Siblings sharing a bed

My 8 year old DD1 and 4 1/2 year old DD2 sleep in a full size bed together. DD3 just turned 3 and is in the same room, but still in a crib. She wants to join them, but there really isn't enough room for her. When DD4 is ready to move out of my room I may put the two of them together in another full size bed.

Re: Siblings sharing a bed

Thanks ladies.. I passed on the bed.. I think that a trundle bed would be even better.. They would still have the option to sleep in their own beds, and we wouldn't have squeaky bunk beds So now to find a great deal on one!

Re: Siblings sharing a bed

M 8,6 and 1 year olds share a bed 99% of the time. We have a toddler bed in the room still but rarely used. I am repainting the twin loft, then they will have the option of someone sleeping there instead. Before we moved here my 6 and 8 year olds slept together in the twin bed.
