Would anyone mind sharing how much they paid for their 12/15 passenger van?

We are thinking of driving tomorrow a good distance to buy a 15 passenger 2005 Chevy Express with 49K miles on it. Rubber/vinyl floors and in impeccable shape mechanically as well as the interior and exterior.

Re: Would anyone mind sharing how much they paid for their 12/15 passenger van?

We bought a 2003 Ford E-350 Extended 15 passenger van with about 55k miles in January 2011. Now, I have to tell you, ours was a steal and we knew it - I almost felt guilty for the deal we got. But, we paid $6800. We actually bought it from a church. They had bought it for their youth mission, but their youth pastor left, so they decided to sell the van. It was definitely worth more than we paid, but that is what they wanted for it, so we snatched it up :-) We were very blessed in the transaction and are SO happy we bought the van. It definitely makes life easier with 5 LOs :-) GL on your purchase!

Re: Would anyone mind sharing how much they paid for their 12/15 passenger van?

Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy- WOW! That is a steal! We have been looking for months....but are not willing to get a good deal with low miles on something that is dirty :/ We got a wonderful deal on our Honda Odyssey when we bought it. Paid like 6000 for it (2000) in 2010 and it had under 45k miles on it and was SPOTLESS. Not a dent/stain anywhere on the outside or inside of it and belonged to a husband that bought it new for his wife that passed away a couple years after he bought it for her...and he never drove it much afterwards, so it was like a brand new vehicle on the inside. He had held onto it out of sadness, but finally sound it years later when he realized it was just sitting around besides the occasional trip here and there. So when we started looking for passenger vans, I was really expecting the interior to be similar to a nice minivan's interior. BOY WAS I WRONG! It must be a common theme that the majority of these passenger vans aren't taken care of well and if they are vinyl flooring are sprayed out with a water hose. YIKES!

We ended up buying a 15 passenger (but doesn't have the last bench....so it's 11 passenger) 2005 Chevy express 3500 for 13K and it has 49K miles on it. And the inside is SPOTLESS and beautiful and taken care of extremely well.

Re: Would anyone mind sharing how much they paid for their 12/15 passenger van?

we're buying a Nissan NV (12 passenger) this weekend (we have a deposit on it, but it's out of state). It's a 2012 w/ only 11,000 miles on it and it's got a lot of features, so it's almost $32,000

HOWEVER we sold our 8 passenger sienna and we're trading in our silverado for it and it's going to be pretty much the buying price on the nose give or take a thousand.

We want/need a sprinter. Our SUV is getting TIGHT, even with only 4 kids.
We go visit it from time to time!
