I don't normally post or participate in things like this as i believe most are a hoax (call me a pessimist

) anyway ...

I am a canadian mama and one of my local friends has asked a favor of all of her friends, on behalf of a friend. Her 10yo duaghter is sick in the hospital and wishes to recieve a rainbow from everyone in the world. It has been asked to draw (or have your children draw) a simple rainbow and mail it to

It has been asked that you include where you are from on your picture (and if you would like your name). They are hoping to drop off all the rainbows at once next week. I know there are many amazing caring mama's out here in DS world and am asking for help in making this sick little girl's wish come true. The family has a goal of reaching and reciving 100 rainbows to help make thier little girl feel special, but i think we can do much better.

If anyone has a few mintues in their day to draw a pictures and pop it in the mail it would be much appreciated (and a very cool thing to do!) thank you all so muc for reading

Eta: the little girl's name is Maranda if anyone would like to address their creations to her

I have a whole houseful of kids here this afternoon, and it is starting to rain. We will draw some rainbows and pop them in the mail this afternoon!

I believe 2 stamps are enough for a regular envelope. Is there a site or some way we can see the rainbows she ends up getting? Well make some and I'm sharing the request with some of my friends.... I hope she ends up getting a ton
