Re: Non minimalism?

Easy. Photos. Mostly still in digital format, but I have a lot in frames as well. I love taking pictures and displaying them! I am minimalist in pretty much every other area.

Re: Non minimalism?

My dh has a book collection and a DVD collection; he won't get rid of any of them, even though he has a nook. For me, I'd have to say yarn and my dd's clothes. We get oodles of clothes for E from my mom (we're very blessed), and it's very hard to give away or sell practically new clothes. I DO need to destash my yarn and organize.

Re: Non minimalism?

Over here it's activities. I've collected tons of toys and activities from my nanny days, and even more from being foster parents. Since most of this stuff was free or very cheap from garage sales I have a hard time parting with much. Huge tubs of legs, knex, wooden trains, marble runs, mr potato head, all sorts of things. And kits for making slime, creepy crawlers, bouncy balls, spin art, etc... My favorite is probably the shadow catcher. The quantities are enough that you can build something awesome from each set because I HATED running out of pieces when I was little. I could easily stock an entire classroom or daycare!

My own baby is just 1, so I can't say they are my kids' toys... they are mine!

Re: Non minimalism?

Kids books & Homeschool supplies. If I want my children to have plenty of high quality educational resources at their access. Also, garden supplies.

Re: Non minimalism?

Shoes, OMG shoes. And antiques. Flea markets in Germany are amazing, and we find such interesting unique old pieces for chump change. I get rid of all the junky stuff to make room for the awesome stuff and I don't feel a bit bad about it.

Re: Non minimalism?

I am intentionally not minimalist with a few things. I <3 scentsy stuff so much that I have a TON! I also have a thing for blankets and typography. It's a problem. Lol!
