Dishwasher soap

I've been using Jillie's dishwasher soap recipe ... its just not cutting it.... Its Borax, Washing Soda, Kosher Salt, and Lemishine mixed together and then a squirt of dawn and vinegar in the bottom of the washer. Can anyone recommend something different...

Re: Dishwasher soap

I have not found anything homemade to work for the dishwasher. I will keep watching this to see if anyone else found anything that works.

Have you tried her oxy clean/dawn "recipe"? that is what i use and it works GREAT. i also like jillee have found that putting 1/2 cup vinegar in a cup in the top rack works better than vinegar in the rinse aid compartment

Homemade worked well for us, but kept caring horribly, so we now use Biokleen. Love it!

I had a recipe that worked for awhile, but then I got horrible build up. Hubby wasn't happy so now we are back to trader joe's.
