Will the milk keep?

Pumped on Saturday and refrigerated the milk with the anticipation of using it Sunday when I worked, however I'm sick and didn't go to work, I just called out for tomorrow now too as the baby has caught my illness and I'm still very sick. I work on Wednesday will the milk be good on Wednesday or should I dump the 20 ounces I worked so hard for?

My chart I have says breastmilk keeps 8 days in the fridge. So it should be fine.

If the baby hasn't drank any of it. I would put it in the freezer now and then defrost it for Wednesday.

Re: Will the milk keep?

Yea it should be fine as long as you keep it in the fridge you could even freeze it to use at a later date as well!

Golden Rule of 8! 8hrs @ room temp, 8days in fridge, 8 months in freezer!
