Bbt thermometer

Does anyone know how to replace batteries in the thermometers? Or do you just buy a new one?

I think mine has directions on how to do it in the instruction manual, but honestly, they are about $8 at wal-mart... I would probably just buy a new one rather than deal with the hassle of changing it out.

this...by the time you buy a battery (and the tiny ones are always pricey) you could just buy a new thermometer lol

The battery in my new walmart one is all ready dying Actually it was dead the first time I used it but I "jiggled" the battery a bit and it is getting me through. But it's only been 2 weeks and I wouldn't give it much longer.

You don't need to buy the batteries. My dh has been ttaking them out of small old toys my kids don't use anymore. Like you know those little personal kid fans you can find at rite aid in the candy department. They sometimes have lolliepops on them...haha so stole batteries out of there. Worked like a charm.

There are jelly looking balls in the isle at Walmart that has the $1, $2, $3 ect toys...you can get a ball that when you bounce it it will light up...$3 and that had 3-4 batteries in it...hey what can I say. I'm cheap. Hahaa

Re: Bbt thermometer

I've replaced mine in the past. The battery compartment opened with a tiny screwdriver, and I brought it with me to rite aid or walmart (can't remember which) and got the same one for around $2.
