I know my DS had a lot of blood in his stool young because I was BF and my nipples were cracked and bleeding. Their solution wast to simply stop breast feeding so it wasn't a problem any more. Didn't exactly listen to them so I did more to heal myself. I hope that is the problem for you.

Going to the pedi this morning... Thanks for everyone's concern and suggestions! I was in bed before the ER recommendations came in, but it honestly doesn't feel like "emergency", although to be taken seriously for sure.

ETA It is small amounts of digested blood, like a pinch, and DD isn't distressed. I hope it is simply related to the cold she just got over... We will see!
