Re: What is your biggest to do before your lo arrives?

I really want to have the twins potty learned during the day, night time is fine for diapers. Add me to the list of people who need to organize my room! We took our bed off of the frame when the twins were born and never put it back when they moved in to their own room. It is too high for having baby in bed with us so I might try to find a shorter frame. The last thing on my list is to get the house ready for the homebirth, that one will take a while!

Our youngest will be 6 in Dec, so I've got nothing kid related to do. On the top of my list is to find a bigger place to rent. Unless we can find my dream house to buy! Doubtful.

DS has just potty learned and that was at the top of the list. Now I need to figure out if we will need a double stroller and if so, figure out which one and buy it! We will be moving 6 months after baby is born, so I need to be thinking about jobs although I have a lot of contacts in that area so it should be pretty straight forward...I hope

huge clean/declutter/purge, and develop the habits to KEEP it that way
some baby related knitting/sewing

those r my *must-do's*, but i do get lots of *it-would-be-nice* ideas that have much lower priority lol

Re: What is your biggest to do before your lo arrives?

Establish our new business! It doesn't have to be bringing in big dough by March, but it does have to be doing okay and chugging along well enough for DH to quit his job and come work for (uh, with) me. I have a clothing resale business that does reasonably well (and we could actually scrape by with just that, though it wouldn't be ideal), but we are trying to get into importing jewelry and eventually "natural"/AP baby and kid clothes.

That's the HUGE one.

Next up, I'd like to finish my screenplay and maybe another one... That's further along. I just want some writing momentum.

As far as the more directly-baby-oriented, I feel reeeeeasonably well-prepared considering this is our first, though I need to brush up again on the CDing, babywearing, bfing, etc. info I have already learned, and maybe hook up with local parents in person who do those things for some more live demos and Q&A.

And even though we are not having a nursery, live in a small home and are somewhat minimalist, I also need to at least make/plan some space for baby things in our bedroom and storage areas.

Re: What is your biggest to do before your lo arrives?

our big things to do are:

Pay off the midwife (we owe about $800)
Buy a carseat
Transition baby #3 to a big girl bed so the crib is free
Get a double stroller

....we also need to get baby boy clothes, and a few baby boy blankets.

now, thanks to an underslab leak in our pipes, we need to:

Get our electrical system upgraded
Remodel our entire kitchen

Figure out why our truck is smoking and fix it
Fix the leaking washing machine
