This is my first time with a peanut in cloth so I am not super experienced but we really like the Sunbaby pockets.

Before they fit, we were using Thirsties Duo Wraps with a trifolded prefold on top of a Sunbaby bamboo insert. I tried 2 bamboo inserts under the Thirties wrap and that was the only time we had a leak.

IMO, It seems like the microfiber or prefold slows the stream down and allows the bamboo to absorbs more slowly. Its like the bamboo doesn't absorb fast enough on its own while baby pees but it can hold a lot, KWIM?

At this point I would recommend Sunbaby 4.0 pocket diapers and have considered getting more.

He is tiny and doesn't fit his Flip covers yet so maybe those are awesome but right now I am super happy and even my husband likes using them.

First time mom so I kept the stash fairly simple.

Currently using on our 1mo old:
18 newborn pfs
6 GMD orange workhorse
1 sbish newborn snapless
1 newborn simplex
6 assunta tiny covers
1 wool soaker

We also had the Jillian's Drawers trial for the first three weeks, and I just bought 3 imagine bamboo NB fitteds. I also have 3 dappi pull ons but we don't use them.

For later:
6 GMD yellow edge pfs
12 imagine green edge pfs
6 imagine bamboo green edge pfs
6 GMD yellow edge workhorse
3 assunta bamboo fitteds
2 Thirsties hemp pfs
9 flip covers
2 wool soakers
Plus 6 weegro covers and 6 Ashar fitteds on the way from a coop.

DD is 6 months old. We have 26 BG 4.0s in daily rotation. When she was itty bitty we used 40ish flats with 2 nb bummis superbrites and 4 thirsties sz 1 wraps. The BGs are stuffed with prefolds.

Re: How many diaper diapers do you have?

Way, way more than I need. I have some serious destashing to do! I have about 40 Flip covers alone . I do have 3 in diapers though, and a granddaughter arriving in 2 months that I'll be CDing when she's with me. That's not totally nuts for diapering 4 LOs, right?
