yes but really it's using a smaller needle. I think the cast on amt is about the same for both patterns though. I usually do a size 4 for the waist instead of a 5 and either and 7 or 8 for the body.

I use a mixture of everything, Eviepants, Dakine, and Wonderpants. If I'm knitting for my own children, I always use a Wonderpants crotch. I just like it better.

I had trouble with this also. I hated short rows until a friend showed me this method.
I had to read the directions the first few times I used it but now I've got it memorized and my knitting goes so much faster. You don't have to worry about concealing! Its fantastic.
