Thermal Shift?

This cycle has been super weird, and really was starting to look annovulatory. But now I think I see a little shift? I had some +OPKs, this is my first cycle using them, but they were definitely positive (test line darker than control). In any case, my temp has stopped going up and down like a mountain range.

My chart link is in my siggy. Thanks in advance for the opinions.

It kind of looks like you O'd on CD34... and because the temps are still pretty up-down-up-down FF hasn't put crosshairs yet.. just my thoughts, I'm no expert!!

Thanks. I am just so frustrated with this cycle. I was finally pretty *normal* after our m/c...and now this. Why, oh why, can't I be a 28 day cycle/14CD O kinda girl. lol.

Your temps look like they are all staying up... I wonder why no crosshairs on your chart... that's odd... but it sure does look like an ovulation thermal shift to me on CD34.

I know right? I think it is b/c of the up/down of the previous temps. :/ It may mark this one annovulatory anyway. As long as AF shows up within the next 2 weeks I will be happy. Just wish my chart was not so wonky.

I agree with Carly, it does look like CD34 was O. Were your temping times off at all during this cycle?

Re: Thermal Shift?

Hmm. Well two of those temps are open circles. If you adjust them do they come down? Is the one at day 30 right? If its too high ov might have been around day 32. I could envision a CL if those three temps were lower. Although that doesn't fit with the OPKs. It could just be anovulatory but it does seem there's a trend towards a shift.

Re: Thermal Shift?

Those temps were taken an hour later...BUT I know from previous cycles (a lot of cycles) that waking time is not a factor for me in the past. Never messed up my chart before.

And I will say - this is my first cycle using OPKs. I may be one of those weird women who always gets a positive on them. One of my friends is like that with the wondfo brand. :/

Re: Thermal Shift?

So - here is my interpretation. Your body has geared up slowly for ovulation and released a weak egg this cycle. This is very normal after a loss while the body heals. Looks like actual 'o' happened on CD 36 with a fall back rise on CD38.
