Re: If you had a 9/10/11lb baby, how long was your labor?
10 lb 3 oz and I only realized I was in labor about 2 hours before she was born. Early labor was longer, but very easy.

Re: If you had a 9/10/11lb baby, how long was your labor?
1st baby-8#15 (so almost 9#) labor lasted 8 hours from the time my water broke without noticable contractions, I pushed for 30 minutes
2nd baby-9#12 labor lasted 6 hours water was broken by my midwife at about 4 hours, pushed for an hour 3rd baby-9#8 labor lasted 3 hours from the time my water broke with no noticable contractions, pushed for less than 10 minutes It was crazy fast compared to the others. All were vaginal and unmedicated births.

My second baby was 9 lbs, 4 oz. Born about 8 hours after my labor began, but I only had 3 hours of intense labor. He was born at home in the tub, and had severe shoulder dystocia, but my midwife was able to pop his shoulder free, and he had no issues, thank God!

Re: If you had a 9/10/11lb baby, how long was your labor?
ODD 8#10oz induced at 38weeks pre-ecclampsia, 2 days from start of cervix ripening meds to birth...I think 12-14 hours on pitocin with contractions...had an epidural to help keep pain from pushing my BP up any higher than it was.
YDD 7#10oz induced 41 weeks due to odd but not high BP readings, 7 hours from start of pit to birth DS 11lbs 3oz 22in long!!! Induced at 42weeks due to PIHypertension. Went in at 6am, He was born at 2:30pm. 2 meds to control BP but I didn't use any pain meds! My doula was an awesome help for this birth. I don't think I would've made it without her! The Dr. on call kept trying to push me into a CS bc of his size but with my doula's help, I did it even tho I was confined to the hos. bed bc of the BP meds. |

Re: If you had a 9/10/11lb baby, how long was your labor?
I was induced with LO5 at 38 weeks because of BP issues. She was 9lbs even. I had a vaginal delivery, no tears, and it lasted about 3hrs start to finish. Only a few minutes of pushing.
