Anyone having Braxton Hicks yet

Mine have started! Seems they do get earlier in each pregnancy. Last time it was about 13 weeks, this time it's only 11 weeks. Lucky me!

Anyone else have them yet?

Nope not yet at 18 weeks. Of course it's possible that I don't really know what they feel like so...

Re: Anyone having Braxton Hicks yet

Yep since 9 weeks but they feel more like real contractions. I do get what feel like real contractions throughout my pregnancies and they get more and more frequent the closer I get to the births. Both myself and my midwife think I may have an irritable uterus though so that's mostly likely why.

My belly felt pretty tight and funny last night....I personally think it may have been because I all of a sudden became extreme um, er.....turned on....

I have felt what I think are BH other times too...I'll be 14 weeks on Friday.

Re: Anyone having Braxton Hicks yet

I've been having them for a few weeks now. Now that I'm in the 2nd trimester I feel great and have started catching up on all my deep cleaning. Then any time I sit down I notice the bh contractions constantly. Luckily they are just mildly annoying and I know they are completely normal for me.

I tend to feel BH contractions pretty early, around 3 months. It's funny that all pregnant women have them, but only some feel them! I look at it as a good sign - my body will be well-prepped for what it needs to do! When I had my 2nd baby I was already 5cm when I went into the hospital, and I wasn't in pain.

This (except I wasn't in labor when my midwife checked me the day of my appointment -- the day before I went into labor )

I've been having them for a while, since 14 or so weeks I think, but now at 20 weeks they are reaaally kicking up! I'm super impressed with my uterus.

Re: Anyone having Braxton Hicks yet

I've been having some really strong ones the past week or so. Like distorting the shape of my whole belly

This is #4 for me, and braxton-hicks ctx aren't a new thing for me about half way in to my pregnancies.
