Prepping workhorse question

How can I speed up the prepping of GMD workhorses? Pretty sure that my package will be in the mail today and I know that you have to wash and dry them 6+ times before they are fully prepped. Is there any way I can do this faster? I know the workhorses take a long time to dry and I wanna try these out today LOL. Do I have to dry them or can I just keep washing on hot? That would cut down the time alot!

Did you get ones with snaps? If you did you really can't speed it up. If you didn't I hear that boiling works but to be honest its the expansion and contraction of the fibers that causes the absorbency to go up. The only way to do that is wash and try.

I got snapless but I didn't know if boiling would be a good idea because of the elastics ugh. I wish our mail lady would hurry up.

I wouldn't boil them because of the elastic. If you're just going to be home though, I'd go ahead and use them after one wash (unless you have a flooder) and just change after every pee. I never fully prep before using because I'm too excited to try them out... I just expect a grand performance either.

Omgsh they are here. I LOVE them I think I am going to put my tots bots up FS and get some of the organic ones. I have been a pocket girl for the most part but I think that is about to change. It looks like it will be so much easier on my sons thunder thighs.

I love our WHs, we use them exclusively under wool for days I would try just washing and drying 3-4 times and then test the absorbency. You can always just change more frequently until they reach optimum absorbency
ETA: you don't need to dry them all the way when prepping.
